This photo was taken just after I saw Cocoa leap from the roof
into a nearby tree for the first time all by herself. Ginger had gone
first and left Cocoa to her own devices. Cocoa paced back and forth a
bit on the edge for a while, and at times I thought she might fall
off. However, she eventually jumped, landed like a grown possum,
righted herself and climbed up onto her mother's back.
