The Prince Hotel [Review]

Honey Apartments [Review]

Of the places I had visited in Australia, Melbourne was my favourite. I had been wanting for some time to stay at The Prince. Technically, The Prince is in St Kilda. In the past I had stayed at (one of) the Honey Apartments in Melbourne's CBD, and had wanted to return.

GK visited me here at the end of my scheduled trip, and we got together with his family. We went to Sugar Dough (for hot chocolate and lunch), then to the Convent, where a community of artists offer various creations and later to Flor (for tapas).

The next day, GK and I together went to Tien Tien for a light dinner, and Cushion for drinks afterward, because Mink was closed. Earlier in the day we had checked out Cacao. The next day we went to Il Fornaio for coffee and pastries. While in Melbourne, we also had soup in a laneway, and again went to a cakeshop in St Kilda.

We had a lot of very good food in Melbourne.

When I arrived in Melbourne, I hadn't had more than a couple of hours of sleep in two days, yet I was able to stay awake and catch up with everyone. My second visit to Melbourne, although relatively brief, left me with a very similar impression to the first: I really like this place.
