 The photo on this page was taken during the last week Cocoa and Kwila were together. Kwila had been at the back-riding stage for a while already, but was not afraid to leave the security of her mother's back. Even in our first Kwila sightings outside the nestbox she had exhibited a tendency to go off on her own to explore without waiting for a nudge from Cocoa. When last we saw Cocoa and Kwila together, Kwila had grown quite adept at stealing food out of Cocoa's mouth and running off with it. Kwila main page |
