 Basil sightings occurred in November-December 2007. The tips of his ears are white and seem to glow. He has taken food by hand. The white tip of his tail reminds us that many brushtails have common features, and that it may be difficult to be sure as to a possum's identity. In this photo, Basil's face resembles Hazel's or Jezebel's more than the main possums we've had contact with here. Is he Queek? In temperament, mannerisms and in comparing baby photos, we think the one we are currently calling Queek is more likely to be Queek.
